Unlike the name suggest FastStone Image Viewer, is not only a viewer but a full transformation tool. Its my favourite image tool to convert and edit multiple images at once.
Its free for personal use so go and check it out.

Converting (resize, rotate, rename, etc.) multiple images with FasStoneImage Viewer:

I have a portuguese version of the program so all the screen shots are in portuguese. Anyway I think they are good enough for everyone to understand the options and their location.


Browse to your image folder:


Select all the images you want to convert. (Ctrl+a to select all).
Right Click the selection and choose "Ferramentas" -> "Converter em grupo" (or F3):


A new popup is displayed where you can:

• Rename the new files;
• Chose a new output format (PNG; JPEG; GIF; etc.);
• Other...

If you check the checbox "Usar opções avançadas" a new button is displayed:


Clicking on this button you get access to all the good stuff:

• Resize;
• Rotate;
• Crop;
• Water mark;
• etc.

 After entering your definitions just click the OK button and the program will do the rest for you.
